Monica S. Monnie Seals 60
Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in San Diego, California on November 3, 1945 to the late Earl M. & Mary I. Spencer. Mrs. Seals was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and RN Certified in Obstetrics for more than 20 years. Her compassion and generosity lead her to begin chapters of Resolve Through Sharing at three hospitals, where she provided handmade gowns for stillborn infants. Due to her illness, she retired after 13 years of service from Camden Medical Center in St. Marys, GA. During her free time she enjoyed reading, needlework, painting, scrapbooking, and especially her grandchildren. She was very proud to be the wife of an Air Force Officer whom she supported and followed in many moves. The family would like to thank all the staff and nurses at Hospice of South Georgia especially Libby and Shelley. She was of the Christian faith. Her twin brother, Michael Spencer and her favorite cousin, William Rushton precedes her in death.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 205 Woodrow Wilson Drive, Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
