Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born on January 6, 1924 in Echols County, GA to the late Herbert Ezra & Lula Lee Glass Zeigler. She was a member of Redland Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Turner Tison, sons, Albert Murwin Tison and Jerry Turner Tison and 3 brothers, Ezra Lee Zeigler, Leonard Merle Zeigler and Willie Jacob Zeigler.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with committal service to be held at 12:00 PM in Oak Hill Cemetery, Quitman, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Pearlman Cancer Center, 2501 North Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31602.
