Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in the Langdale Place after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County on November 24, 1911 to the late W.R. & Martha Hall Peters. She was the oldest charter member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Cooper, 7 brothers, Randall Peters, Billy Jim Peters, Henry Peters, Eston Peters, Earl Peters, Harry Peters, Fred Peters and a sister Clara Nell Jones.
Survivors include:A number of nieces and nephews, Special Step Grandson, Glenn Cooper, Valdosta, GA, Special Niece, Jeanette Parker, Valdosta, GA
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 16, 2007 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the funeral home.
