Myrtis Myrt Gray Love – 81
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born on September 2, 1934 in Statenville, GA and lived most of her life in Valdosta, GA. She was the daughter of the late Curtis C. and Julia I. Owens Gray. She retired from AT&T with 32 years of service and she was a life member of the Telephone Pioneer's of America and Communication Worker's of American. She attended Naylor School and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Love, a son, Angelo Watley and brothers, James Gray and Charlie Gray.
Her survivors include two daughters, Tracie Love Parker and Tricia Love Moon both of Valdosta, GA; one son, William Mark Love of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren: Charlotte Michelle Hughes, California, Whitney Nichole Crouch, Valdosta, Cody Michael Parker my precious boy, Valdosta, Savanna Brooke Davis, Valdosta, Robbie Musser Warsaw, Indiana; sisters-in-law: Jimmie Gray wife of Charlie, Madison, FL and Juanita Gray wife of James, Tifton, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, July 16, 2016 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day of Saints with burial to follow in Carter Cemetery in Echols County. Ms. Love will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services. The family will receive family and friends Friday night July 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
