Of Valdosta passed away late Friday evening, July 16, 2021 in the Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born on May 18, 1940 in Broxton, Georgia to the late Johnny and Beatrice Hatten Ellis. She was the widow of the late Rastus Evans. Myrtle was a packer with Crackin Good Bakers. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Survivors include: Son, Bruce Evans of Valdosta, Georgia, Daughter Tammy Tyre of Valdosta, Grandchildren: Tiffany Evans, Ashley Evans Kinlaw and Husband Kendall, Shauna Tyre Ellis and husband Chad. Great Grandchildren: Brianna, Gabby, Maria, Antonia, J. J., Tristan, Jaidyn and Logan and a niece Pam Lastinger.
