Of Lakeland, passed away Sunday February 20, 2005 evening in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born December 12, 1925 in Clinch County to the late Gilford and Harriet Browning Fender. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rufus Knight, and two Sons, Walton Hayward Knight, and John Avery Knight, Great Grandson, Dustin Henderson, Sister Alife Fain, and Brothers Jim Mack Fender, Clifford Fender, Dillmus Fender She was Baptist by Faith. Mrs. Knight worked for over 20 years with Levi Strauss as a seamstress.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. in The Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Fender Cemetery.
