Nancy Lois Bailey Kaltenberger Henkener was born October 4, 1948. On May 12, 2024 Nancy passed away at her home in Hahira, GA. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and we rejoice she is in His presence now. Nancy was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Ben and Dorothy Bailey. In 1959 her family moved to Fort Collins, CO. Nancy raised 3 children with her first husband, Dennis Kaltenberger, in Fort Collins. Motherhood was her greatest source of fulfillment. She found joy in raising her three kids and was active in their interests as they grew. Nancy was their biggest mentor and loudest cheerleader in their adult lives. Being Nana to her 4 grandkids was a job she valued greatly. Nancy worked for many years in the car dealership industry. At the end of her career she was the General Manager of a dealership in Cheyenne, WY, a position few women held at the time. She shattered glass ceilings, trained and mentored many, impacted her community and found much success in her career. In her retirement she was a published author. On December 31, 2013 she married Matthew Henkener, the true love of her life. They enjoyed life together in southern GA.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Ben Bailey and Dorothy Bailey Gledhill. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Henkener, her sister, Diann Bailey Last (Howard), brother, Boyd Bailey (Libby), her children Michael Kaltenberger, Matthew Kaltenberger (Dana), Mandy Shaffer (Brad) and four grandchildren, Jacob Kaltenberger, Gabrielle Kaltenberger, Joshua Kaltenberger and Barrett Shaffer.
