Of Hahira passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 at her daughters residence with family by her side. She was born on September 8, 1928 in Florida to the late William & Flora Cloud. Mrs. Cosby enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from the food industry and was Baptist by faith.

Funeral services were held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2006 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Pastor Jean Jack and Pastor Doug Griner officiating. A private family committal service was held on Friday, March 10, 2006 in the Friendship Cemetery.
Music Funeral Services of Valdosta is serving the Cosby family.
