Nancy Joan Lee

Nancy Joan Lee – 69 of Quitman, GA passed away on Sunday March 8, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Ernest Hufnagel and Jean Mae (Shandor) Hufnagel, who survives; but was raised in Miami, Florida; she met and married her greatest love, Douglas Lee. Nancy enjoyed working with numbers, at her job as an accountant with Pike Creek Turf, Inc. She also loved her family, and spending time with her precious grandchildren. Traveling and football were some of her favorites. Nancy loved to debate about politics! She was preceded in death by her father; daughter, Misty Dawn Lee; sister, Cynthia J. Salas; Mother and Father-in-Law, Alice Elizabeth and James Ralph Lee.
In addition to her mother, Jean Mae Hufnagel of Canton, Georgia, survivors include her loving husband of 51 years Douglas Lee of Quitman, GA; Daughter, Spring L. Henry and Husband Dan of Valdosta, GA; Son, Mike Lee and Wife Tara of Nashville, GA; Grandchildren: Trey Henry, Ean Henry, Grayson Lee; Sisters, Gloria J. Denmark of Canton, GA, Linda J. Sussman of Miami, FL, Barbara J. Hicks and Husband Lincoln of Knoxville, TN; Brother, Alex Hufnagel of Miami, FL; numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 14, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Hillcrest Memorial Garden Cemetery.
