Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1923 in Tifton, GA to the late John F. and Susan LaMee′ Lotz. She graduated with a nursing degree from the University of Memphis, and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army during World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Wayne Cocke, Sr., a sister, LaMee′ Waddill and two brothers, Ed Lotz and Jack Lotz.
Her survivors include her Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Wayne & Jacquelin Cocke, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, James & Diane Cocke of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren, Luke Cocke of Valdosta, GA, Marcus Cocke, III of Shreveport, LA, Celia Cocke of Jackson, WY, John Paul Cocke of Boston, GA, Jacob Cocke of Valdosta, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with graveside services to follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee, FL.
