Of Lakeland passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Lakeland Villa Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born in Hahira, Georgia on September 6, 1960 to the late Betty Jean and Fletcher Ganas. He retired as a forklift operator with Bassford packaging. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of the Pleasant Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include: brother Larry Ganas (BJ) of Valdosta, Georgia; sister Janice Smith (Roy) of Valdosta, Georgia; sister, Joyce Mello (Willie) of Dallas, Georgia; daughter Brandy Wade, of Valdosta, Georgia; granddaughters, Lexy Wade, Makayla Wade, Cassidy Wade, Zoey Garrison; great grandson Kayson Price; nieces and nephews, Tyler Ganas, Jared Smith, Chris Mello, and Michael Mello.
Funeral services will be private and will be held at Burnt Church Cemetery on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 with Rev. Bill Watson officiating.
