Dr. Nolan James Argyle – 75
Of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on August 6, 1943 in Cedar City, Utah to the late Rell and Lillie (Larsen) Argyle. Nolan served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a professor as well as the Dean of Public Administrations at Valdosta State University. Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by his son Teryl Argyle, sister Karen Price, and brother Gary Argyle.
Survivors include: Wife of 58 years: LaVeda Argyle Valdosta, GA, Son, Anthony Argyle, Valdosta, GA; 3 Daughters & Sons-in-law: Anne & Mike Bowen, Valdosta, GA; Katherine & Michael Hardwick, Harlem, GA; Karen & Jason Yawn, Hahira, GA; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Sister & Brother-in-law: Sonja & Brent Buttars, Smithfield, UT, Brother: Jorgen Argyle, California
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a military burial at Tallahassee National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
