Norma Magdalene Valiket- 77
Of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Baptist Village Retirement in Waycross, Georgia. She was born to the late Wilbert Ross Kraft and Daisy Arbutus Kraft on February 2, 1948, in Stanton, Michigan. Norma was a kind and caring woman with many passions. She loved baking and often shared her homemade treats with family and friends. She always had a dog by her side and enjoyed sewing everything from clothes to crafts. Norma also loved collecting dolls, each one special to her. She worked for 20 years in the lunchroom at Hahira Elementary School, where she helped care for and feed many students over the years. Her warm and friendly nature made a lasting impact. Norma was also very involved with the Boys Ranch, where she gave her time and support to the boys there. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and the joy she brought to others. Along with her parents she is preceded in death her sisters: Helen Kraft and Elenor Marek.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Craig D. Valiket of Hahira, Georgia; daughters: Valerie Myers (John) and Cindy Pearce (James); grandchildren: Trai Gay, Kami Dean (Jaden), Cade Myers, Brodie Gay, Stone Gay, Maggie Richardson (Tristen), Cadie Pearce (DJ Hardman); great grandchildren: Dove Richardson, Lola Dean, and Gatlin Dean; sister, Daisy Rochester of Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
As per her wishes she will be cremated. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Salem Methodist Church. 9032 Salem Church Rd Hahira, GA. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
