Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Lakeland Villas. She was born on September 8, 1925 in Homerville, GA to the late William and Mae (Stalvey) Pierce. Before retiring, Odessa worked as an office manager for Farmer’s Tractor in Valdosta, GA and helped run the family farm. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Odessa knew how to fill a house with more food than we could eat, more people than we had seats, more laughs than we could handle and more love than we thought possible. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wallace Bradford; Sons: Lawson and Larry Bradford; Daughter: Sherry Ricketson; Granddaughter: Lynn Griffin; 2 Sons-in-law: Luther Ricketson, Don Tomlinson; Daughter-in-law: Lalone Bradford; 1 Brother and 2 Sisters.
Survivors Include: Sons and Daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Rosalynn Bradford of Hahira, GA, Jim and Joy Bradford of Lake Park, GA; Daughter, Donna Bradford Tomlinson of Thomasville, GA; Daughter-in-Law, Shirley Bradford of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Mark Bradford (Susan), William Bradford (Angie), Tammy Bradford, Steve Bradford (Dena), Krista Pearson (Chuck), Pamela Hancock (James), Hugh Tomlinson (Julie), Phoebe Chapman, Lee Lucas (Richard Brumm), Sarah Register (Kevin), Suzanne Roach (Boone), Lesley Teel (Garrett), Zach Bennington (Bridget) and grandson-in-law, Stacy Griffin; 24 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Unity United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
