Oliver "Granddaddy" Farr – 73

Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at SGMC Lanier Campus after a 30 plus years battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on October 23, 1942 in Crab Orchard, TN to William H. and Martha Louise Campbell Farr. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the New River Free Holiness Church. His passions were his church, grandchildren and turkey hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill Farr and Michael Farr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
