Opal "Grams" Jacqueline Herndon

Opal “Grams” Jacqueline Herndon – 82 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2020 in her home. She was born in Morven, Georgia to the late Albert P. and Ruth Watson. Opal was Methodist by faith and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Herndon; and brother, Frank Watson.
Survivors include: Daughters: Becky Sands and husband, David of Adel, GA, Kim Muller and husband, Walter of Valdosta, GA, Wendy Carraway and husband, Robert of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Nick Sands (Barney, GA), Jonathan Sands (Adel, GA), Chris Muller (Valdosta, GA), Patrick Muller (Ellsworth AFB, SD), William Carraway (Joint Base Lewis McCord, WA), Thomas Carraway and wife, Kelsey (Tumwater, WA); Great Grandchildren: Brey and Livi Sands (Norman Park, GA); Sister, Judy McCandless of Baton Rouge, LA; Numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family members.
A private family graveside service to honor Opal’s life will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
