Of Lakeland, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born September 9, 1920 in Lanier County to the late Joe Riley and Pheobe Sirmans Browning. She was a homemaker all of her life and was Methodist by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Monroe Smith.
