Orville Glenn Dove, Sr.

Of Lakeland, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born January 24, 1927 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Elsie Dove. He was in the United States Navy a Veteran of World War II and later worked in Real Estate in Jacksonville, FL. He was a Shriner and a 32nd Degree Master Mason, and is Baptist by Faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Glenn Dove, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. Austin Deloach officiating. Burial will follow in Burnt Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
