Pamela Annette Perez – 59
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on April 12, 2025 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. She was born on March 5, 1966 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Jonathon Travis Stanley and Thelma Annette (Harper) Stanley. She deeply loved her husband, Mario, and caring for him was not just a duty—it was her passion. She also had a deep love for her family as well. Music was a joyful part of her life, and she cherished singing and playing the piano with her family in their band, Heaven Sound. Whether it was a trip to the beach or an escape to the mountains, she found joy in every journey. She had a natural warmth that drew people in, and she loved meeting new faces—whether on the tour bus or moments shared with Mario. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, especially when she could treat her mama to a special day out. Her love extended to her animals, with a special bond shared with Cortez, Stanley, and Charlie Brown. She also adored her sweet fur baby niece, Sallie, who held a special place in her heart.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Anita Angell.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mario Perez of Lakeland, Georgia; mother, Annette Stanley of Quitman, Georgia; brother, John Stanley (Kaci) of Nashville, Georgia; sister, Snoopy Stanley, sister, Trish Page of Quitman, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
