Patricia “Pat” Lee Bradley
Ms. Patricia Lee Bradley passed away Wednesday morning at South Georgia Medical Center after a battle with cancer. She is survived by daughter Erin Thompson Nance (Robert) of Telluride, CO., stepdaughter Stephanie Thompson Field (Chan) and grandchildren Sydney and Ben Field of Watkinsville, GA., brother Keith Bradley (Karla) of Owego, NY. and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Dylis Davies Bradley and stepmother Thelma Sholder Bradley of Owego, NY., sister Lynne Bradley Davis (Don) of Apalachin, NY. and her daughters’ father Carl B. Thompson Jr. of Savannah, GA.
Ms. Bradley was born in Kingston, PA on 8/1/1947. She was a graduate of Owego Free Academy, Owego, NY. and SUNY Morrisville, Morrisville, NY. She began her career with Rochester Telephone in Rochester, NY. and continued her telecommunications career in Savannah and Valdosta, GA where she retired from Bellsouth in 2003. After retirement Pat continued her education at Valdosta State University. One of her proudest moments was maintaining a high GPA while attending college in her 50’s.
Pat was an active member of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church in Valdosta, GA. where she was licensed as a Lay Eucharistic Visitor and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was passionate about her family, her church, her friends and animal rescue. Pat loved her Terrier mix, Teaka, whom she rescued from the Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes County.
