Patricia Ann Coons

Patricia Ann Lawrence Coons, age 86, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026. She was born to loving parents, G.C. Lawrence and Verna Maglene Ingle on June 27, 1940, in Brilliant, AL.

Patricia dedicated over 35 years of her life to working in the banking industry. Outside of work, she enjoyed crocheting, playing solitaire, gardening, and keeping up with friends and family through Facebook. She loved a good conversation and never minded a little friendly gossip.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Coons; sister Diane Webb and son-in-law, Darren Long.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Brittney Coons-Long of Valdosta; granddaughters, Abbi and Bella Long; special friend, Johnnie Lou Kent of Valdosta and special cousins, Barbara Elliott and Wiletta Bull.
