Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in South Georgia Medical Center After a lengthy illness. She was born on July 3, 1946 in Ocilla, GA to J.P and Louise Morris Chaney. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Lige Wayne Chaney and L.D. Chaney. Her life was centered around, reading her Bible, cooking, and caring for her family.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her Husband, Larry Hunter, Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Lea Patrice Hunter, Nashville, TN; Son and Daughter-in-law, Larry Duane and Susan Ramsey Hunter Naylor, GA; 2 Grandchildren Ramsey Hamilton Hunter and Peyton Frederick Hunter
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the funeral home.
