Patricia Ann Key Williams - 81
of Lake Park, GA departed this life for the next chapter on May 15, 2023. Mrs. Williams was born on April 3, 1942 in Blountsville, AL to the late John Key, Jr. and Billie Lee Ward Key. She was the oldest of 6 children. Patricia graduated from Phillips High School Class of 1960 in Birmingham, AL. It was in high school where she met the love of her life, Whylie Dee Williams, Jr. She and Whylie married on October 5, 1961 and together they had two children, Whylie Dee Williams, III and Tracy Lee Williams before relocating to Lake Park, GA in 1979 where they lived out the rest of their 50 years of marriage together.
Patricia was an avid bowler and was an honored member of the Bowler's Hall of Fame with many of her beloved friends at Jac's Bowling Lanes in Valdosta. She enjoyed fellowshipping with her friends and family, dancing, and trying new adventures including zip lining through Ocala National Forrest. No matter what she was doing, she was always to be found surrounded by her beloved family and her faithful dog, Lilli. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Park, GA where she especially loved to be part of the worship and praise service. She was the beloved "Nana" to her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband Whylie Williams, brother Norman Key, and her parents John and Billie Key. She is survived by her children; Whylie (Pamala) Williams III of Warner Robins, GA, Tracy (Drew) Lindsey of Lake Park, GA. Grandchildren; Brittany (Broc) Cox of Lake Park, Kristen (Shane) Sikes of Lake Park, Camden (Charley) Lindsey of Valdosta, Whylie (Sara) Williams of Milledgeville, Rian (Christy) Williams of Warner Robins. Great Grandchildren and the true loves of her life; Broxton Cox, Brody Cox, Baylor Cox, Caylee Lindsey, Aiden Sikes, Boone Cox, Colsten Lindsey and Dylan Sikes. She is also survived by her sister Barbara (Terry) Saulsbury of Gunnersville, AL, Johnny (Donice) Key of Pensecola, FL, Phillip (Debbe) Key of Foley, AL, Timothy (Terri) Key of Empire, AL and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2023 in the chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
