Patricia Ann Lange Kipper

VALDOSTA — Patricia Ann Lange Kipper, 65, of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at her residence after a lengthy illness.She was born in Dubuque, Iowa on Nov. 30, 1939, to the late Clarence J. and Gertrude Eberlein Lange. Mrs. Kipper was a career homemaker, a position at which she excelled. Her culinary and baking skills are legendary within her circle of family and friends, as is her love and kindness toward all but especially children and animals. Mrs. Kipper and her husband, Robert moved to Valdosta four years ago after 22 years of residency in Valrico, Fla. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Valdosta.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert Kipper Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tony Richards Valdosta; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Theresa Kipper, Valdosta; Brian and Vicki Kipper, Warner Robins, Steven and Tiane Kipper, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Abbey and Josh Bowersox, Brandon, Fla., Ericha, Jacob, Zachary and Tyler Richards, all of Valdosta, Ashley, Sarah and Adam Kipper, Brandon, Fla.

Noah and Seth Kipper, Warner Robins, Hannah and Hailey Kipper, Warner Robins; sister, Jeanne Kinkel, Dubuque, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Paula Lange Dubuque, Iowa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge and generously thank Father John O’Brien of St. John Catholic Church and Hospice of South Georgia, especially Mrs. Tami Berube, for ministry and gentle care to ease the paradox of passing for Mrs. Kipper and for the soothing balm of Christian love bestowed on the family. The rosary service was held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, in the St. Johns Catholic Church with the Father John O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Garden.
