Of Valdosta passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 in South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 23, 1951 in Tupelo, Mississippi. She retired as an inspector from Levi Strauss & Company after 20 years of service. Following retirement she worked with Winn Dixie in the meat department for 12 years. She was a member of Cecil Calvary Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Shawn Warren and her step-father, Ray Westberry.
Mrs. Maine is survived by her:Husband of 38 years, Buddy Maine, Valdosta, GA, Sons & Daughter-in-law, Sherman & Shannon Maine, Valdosta, GA, Shannon Maine, Valdosta, GA, 4 Grandchildren: Caleb Maine, Mason Mooney, Tanner Maine, and Sarah Grace Maine, Mother, Faye Westberry, Valdosta, GA, Brother, Wayne Warren, Valdosta, GA, Sister & Brother-in-law, Lynn & Gary Bullard, Cecil, GA, A number of nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the funeral home.
