Of Lakeland, GA passed away late Friday night, June 4, 2004, at her daughters residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Chippawah Falls, WI and lived in Madison, Florida before moving to Lakeland a short time ago. She was a member of Lakeland United Methodist Church. She was a VIP blood donor for the American Red Cross for 2003. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thompson and a daughter, Patrice Tamayo.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Edith Thompson of Lakeland, Georgia, Son, Charles Thompson, Miami, Florida, 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild, Brother, H. J. Karew,
Sister, Joann Olguin, Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
