Of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday, January 18, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 27, 1944 in Valdosta, GA to the late Alton Alfred and Juanita Corine Thomas Boone. He graduated from Lowndes County High School in 1962 where he excelled in sports, especially baseball and, football. He was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Mr. England was a salesman for Rowan Frozen Foods. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Boone.
Survivors Include: Daughter: Mitzi England Pender; Blackshear, GA, Son: Chance England; Valdosta, GA, 2 Grandchildren: Dalton Pender & Sadie Pender, Sister: LaVerne Boone Caldwell; Valdosta, GA, Brother: Eddie England; Lake Park, GA, Mother of Children: Etna Frost; Valdosta, GA, and A number of Nieces & Nephews.
As per his wishes he will be cremated and the family will hold a graveside memorial service 1:00PM on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
