Paul Curtis King, age 84 of Alapaha, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, Georgia. He was born on August 30, 1936 in Ft. Lauderdale Florida to the late Curtis Clifton and Ruby Roden King. He was a retired Game Warden with the state of Florida and a Georgia farmer. He was a Mason being a lifetime member of both the Duncan Lodge # 234 in Nashville, where is also served a Past Master and also logged over one million miles in assisting families and taking children to the Shriner’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida as well as Galveston Texas to the Shriner’s burn center; also, an Ambassador at Large of The Hasan Temple in Albany, Georgia. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cattle farming, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Nancy (Pam) Cook King of Alapaha, Ga; daughter, Brenda Sullivan of Lake Placid, FL; son and daughter in law, Timothy “Tim” Paul King, Sr and Beth of Nashville, GA, son, Curtis King of Okeechobee, FL, brother and sister-in-law, Simmie King and wife Charlotte of Hahira, GA; ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Flat Creek Baptist Church in Alapaha, Georgia, with burial to follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Cecil, Georgia, where Masonic rites will be performed.
