Paul Raymond Sherman

Paul Raymond Sherman, age 74, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1951, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania to late parents William Goodard Sherman and Sarah Kramer Sherman.

Paul served seven years in the United States Navy- showcasing his love and dedication to his country. He worked for LL Bean as a salesman for many years- bringing smiles to everyone he met. He enjoyed listening to his albums, working in the yard and dedicating time to the Humane Society- providing love and care to all the animals he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jocelyn Sherman Boyle; brother, Timothy William Sherman; and brother-in-law, James Warren Boyle.

He is survived by his loving nieces, Stephanie Boyle of Valdosta, GA, Sarah Boyle of Valdosta, GA and Allison Veal (Brian) of Forest Park, GA; great nephew, Aaron Veal; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

A memorial service at Park Avenue Church will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Park Avenue Church, Valdosta or the Humane Society of Valdosta.
