Paula Jo Carpenter

Paula Jo Carpenter – 54 of Valdosta passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 1, 1963 in New Martinsville, WV to the late James M. & Gwenola Jo (Norton) Carpenter. She worked as a 1st grade teacher at Georgia Christian School until ill health forced her to retire. She was a member of Dasher Church of Christ. Paula Jo loved reading, listening to music, scrabble and spending time with family.
Survivors Include: Brother & Sister-in-law, Bruce & Dora Carpenter, Port Orange, FL; Nieces: Valerie Urban (Michael), New Smyrna Beach, FL, Sherry Rowe (Eugene), Lake Park, GA, Melanie Howell, Port Orange, FL; Great Nieces and Nephews: Edward Neeley (Lindsey), Mackenzie Garza, Donnie Gay Neeley, Kaiden Neeley, Parker George, Emilee Rowe and Victoria Rowe and Great Great Nieces and Nephews: Sawyer Jane Downey, Eleanor Rose Neeley & Korbin Brown
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Dasher Church of Christ with burial to follow in Dasher Cemetery. She will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the services.
