Pauline Moore

Pauline Moore – 96 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tifton, GA on March 25, 1923 to the late Fred & Bessie (Walker) Gibbs. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Moore. She was the last to survive her siblings of four sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Moore was a member of Naylor Baptist Church and she also enjoyed attending services with her son at Statenville Church of Christ. She was a very proud Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who loved spending time with all of her family. She loved being pampered especially getting her hair and nails done. Mrs. Moore’s favorite outdoor activity was fishing and she loved telling stories and reminiscing about her life.
Her survivors include her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Lucius & Kathleen Moore of Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law: Brenda & Lamar Courson of Valdosta, GA, Daughter: Diane Powell of Hahira, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Scott Moore (Mindy), Mike Courson, Dawn Buescher (Kent) and Christopher Sean Powell; 8 Great Grandchildren, Christian Moore, Brooke Moore, Brittni Moore, Kara Buescher Jones, Jacob Courson, Morgan Powell, Max Powell and Matthew Powell; Fur babies: Tinker Bell, Molly and Helena and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. A private burial will be held in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
