Of Lake Park passed away Friday, May 9, 2008, at her residence after a lengthily illness. She was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on September 25, 1934 to the late Wheeler and Opal Mosely Partain. She was a member of North Valdosta Church of Christ and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Edwin Israel.
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters & Son-in-Laws: Carolyn & Dennis Meyer Sr., Valdosta, Ga, Linda & Phil Livermore, Lake Park, Ga; 3 Sons & Daughter-in-Laws: Jerry & Heidi Israel, Lake Park, Ga, Ricky Israel, Kansas, Kenny & Vicky Israel, Valdosta, Ga; 10 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters & Brother-in-Laws: Bobbie & Jerry Collins , Byron, Ga, Charlotte & Larry Luker, Pell City, Al; 4 Brothers & Sister-in-Laws: Larry Partain, Tennessee, Danny & Mavis Partain, Clay, Al, Billy Partain, Byron, Ga, Steve & Sheryl Partain, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 11, 2008, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
