Of Lakeland passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 7, 1939 in Valdosta to the late Dave C. and Oshey Bell Harnage Thomas. Mr. Thomas served 23 years in the United States Air Force. He was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed telling stories and talking about the old days. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lena T. Barfield and 12 brothers.
Survivors include: Loving wife of 16 years, Connie S. Thomas of Lakeland, GA; Daughter, Vickie T. Beaver of Nashville, GA, Son, Dewayne Thomas of Lakeland, GA, Daughter, Samantha Stiglet of Lakeland, GA, Daughter, Linda Turner of Tifton, GA, Grandson, Joseph Beaver and wife, Angie of Nashville, GA, 5 Great Grandchildren: Alan, Devon, Tiffany, Tristen and Odesca; Sister, Bobbie T. Leggett and husband, David of Albany, GA
A funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Perry will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. After the service his wishes are to be cremated and later buried at Greenlawn Cemetery with his parents. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
