Phyllis Angela Volz

Phyllis Angela Volz – 62 of Quitman, Georgia passed away on Sunday October 11, 2020 after succumbing to injuries sustained in an accident. She was born on July 30, 1958 in Madison, Florida to the late Virgina (Hughes) and Norman Williams. Phyllis was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed her job as a school bus driver and was employed with the Lowndes County Board of Education for many years. She was also an avid bike rider. Phyllis loved eating peanuts and collecting jewelry. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marty Volz and daughter, Angie Hannah.

A memorial service for Phyllis will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday October 17, 2020 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will see friends one-hour prior to services.
