Prince Von Kirkland

Prince Von Kirkland, 78, Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 28, 1940 in Lakeland, GA to the late I.B. and Golie Browning Kirkland, Jr. Prince served in the United States Army for 2 years and 6 years as a reserve. Following his service to our country, he worked at Pantry Pride for 25 years and Harvey’s for 25 years as the Assistant Manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sitting on the porch watching the traffic go by. Along with his parents, a brother, Darrell Kirkland precedes him in death.
Survivors include his Wife of 58 years, Frances Kirkland of Valdosta, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-Law, David and Judy Kirkland, Valdosta, GA and Tracy and Lee Kirkland of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Kyler Kirkland, Travis and Chelsea Kirkland, Dalan Kirkland, Carlie Kirkland, Heather and Aaron Royals, Crysta and Taylor Prain; Great Grandchild; Addie Royals
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
