Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 in Louis Smith Hospital in Lakeland after a lengthy illness. She was born November 2, 1939 to the late W.M. & Annie Lillian Long Smith in Minneola, GA. Mrs. Davis was a School bus driver for the Lowndes County School system for more than 30 years before retirement, and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Paulette Davis.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in Corinth Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
