Of Naylor, GA passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at South
Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born on March 22, 1942 in Naylor, GA to Albert and Lucille (Carter) Moore. He was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and most of all “talking”. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Moore, a son, Nicky Moore, a grandson, Alex Moore, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Angie Owens and husband, John of Lakeland, GA; Son, Sidney Moore of Naylor, GA; Grandchildren: Amber Welch (Alex), Hannah Bruce (Allen), Michael Moore, Lyndon Owens; Great Grandson, Easton Bruce; Brother, Nelson Moore and wife, Helen of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Barbara Stracener and husband, Bobby of Valdosta, GA; Special Friends, Ginger, Billy and Hunter Jackson, Judy Moore, Lorena Gould, Ben Livingston; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the church. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
