Rachel Jake Watson Burkhalter 90
Of Lakeland, GA passed away Sunday, May 2, 2004 in Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Berrien County, GA and had lived in Lakeland all her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Womens Club and the Lakeland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Mack Burkhalter.
Survivors include; 4 Daughters, Marjorie Hilborn, of Pass Christian, Miss, Eunice Massey, Broken Arrow, OK, Jean Abrahamsen, Lakeland, GA, Nancy Lantis, Lakeland, GA, Son, James Earl Burkhalter, Douglasville, GA
17 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday May 6, 2004 in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 5, 2004 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.
