of Hahira, GA passed away peacefully in her home on Monday January 6, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1942 in Thomaston, GA to the late Merrill J. Scott and the late Evelyn Roberts Conley. She was a graduate of The R. E. Lee Institute in Thomaston, Georgia. Mrs. Rachel dedicated her life to her passion and love for children and their care. She was a long-time childcare business owner. Rachel was also a daddy’s girl. She loved “soap operas” and those who knew her, knew to never disturb her when they were on! Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sullivan; Sisters, Merilyn Buchanan, and Cathy Buice; and Step-Mother, Alene Scott.
Survivors include, Husband, Charles Cornelius, Sr. of Hahira, GA; Daughter, LaRae Sullivan of Hahira, GA; Son, Jay Sullivan (Stacey) of Athens, GA; Brother, Steve Scott of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Connie Smith of Barnesville, GA; 7 Grandchildren: Will Willis, Dylan Willis, Wes Sullivan, Stephen Sullivan, Mason Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, Anna Sullivan and several Great Grandchildren.
