Ramona Carranza Eguia

Ramona Carranza Eguia, age 75, of Ray City, Georgia, passed away the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was born to loving parents, Julio Carranza and Isidra Eguia in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas on March 29, 1951.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, always taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lety Silva; son, Jaime Silva; sister, Marcelo Carranza Eguia and brother Alejandro Eguia.

Ramona is survived by her children, Bernado Sifuentes of Hahira, Martin Sifuentes (Kayla) of Ray City, Julio Sifuentes of Valdosta, Laura Diaz of Mexico, Ignacio Silva of Valdosta and Abraham Silva of Mexico; grandchildren, Edisa, Oseias, Judith, Luis, Manolo, Jorge, Nidia, Jonatan, Luis, Gabriella and Sandra; siblings, Juan Carranza Eguia of Valdosta, Blanca Lidia of Mexico and Nicolas Carranza of Mexico and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
