Of Lakeland passed away early Sunday morning December 16, 2006 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born December 26, 1916 in Lanier County GA and lived all his life there. He was a farmer working with Patten Seed Company many years. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge # 728, member, Deacon, song leader, Sunday School Teacher of Good Hope Baptist Church near Naylor.

Son and Daughter-in-Law – Gary and Karen Spell – Lakeland, GA
Step Son and Daughter-in-Law – Sammy and Pam Dasher – Folkston, GA
10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren
A number of nieces and nephews
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 18, 2006 in the Good Hope Baptist Church near Naylor, GA, with burial following in the church cemetery.
