Rayford "Ray" Ellis Faircloth

Rayford “Ray” Ellis Faircloth, age 76, passed away, Monday, August 30, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. Ray was born to the late Rufus & Minnie (Brewer) Faircloth in Pitts, Georgia. He worked with Bellsouth for over thirty-three years. He enjoyed working in the yard, helping others and had a heart bigger than Georgia. Ray was an avid collector of “antiques.” He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Frank Faircloth and James White.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-six years, Patricia Register Faircloth of Barney, Georgia; children: Kara F. Hiers and husband Dustin of Niceville, Florida; Alan Faircloth and wife Kimber of Kennesaw, Georgia, Myron Faircloth (Christina Payne) Miramar Beach, Florida, Derek Faircloth and wife Michelle of Barney, Georgia; ten grandchildren: Kinley Faircloth, Kaelyn Hiers, Mason Faircloth, Connor Hiers, Langley Faircloth, Austin Faircloth, Nathan Hiers, Lily Faircloth, Lyla Hiers and Ella Hiers; sisters, Linda F. Turner and husband Freddy of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dorothy Rhodes of Rochelle, Georgia, Bobbie Jean Wilson and husband Marty of Abbeville, Georgia; brothers, Lamar Faircloth and wife Faye of Cleveland, Tennessee, Raymond Faircloth and wife Sandra of Ocilla, Georgia, Roy Faircloth and wife Patsy of Pitts, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews also survives.
