Raymond C. Anderson, Jr. – 61
Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born on May 26, 1957 to the late Raymond C., Sr. and Inez (Ford) Anderson. Raymond served in the United States Army. He was an active member and served as a trustee of First United Pentecostal Church, Valdosta for over 33 years. Raymond worked in the maintenance department as an electrician with ADM for 12 years. He loved sports and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Anderson & James E. Falls and sisters, Linda Anderson & Debra Rollins.
Survivors Include: Wife of over 33 years , Marcia Anderson, Valdosta; Son & Daughter-in-law: Chris & Sophie Anderson, Valdosta; Daughter & Son-in-law: Tara & Travis Booth, Valdosta; 4 Grandchildren: Preston, Abby, Brynlee & Bradley; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Elizabeth A. & Warner Wade, Columbus, Ga, Susan G. & Aubrey Peacock, Columbus, GA, Karen D. & Donald Wright, Columbus, Ga, Donna J. Bellew, Clinton, KY, Jeri Hayes, Mt. Juliet, TN and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
