Of Argyle, GA passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Satilla Regional Medical Center Waycross after a lengthy illness. He was born September 10, 1941 in Clinch County, Georgia to the late Hubert and Addie Bell Fullwood James. He served faithfully on the City Council and as Mayor of Argyle for about 25 years. He worked as a General Contractor, owned and operated his business James Varity Works. He is Methodist by faith. He is preceded in death by a sister Alma J. Strickland.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 6-8 p.m.
