Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in Crestwood Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born in Olean, New York on December 22, 1923 to the late Frank and Pearl Shoup. He was Protestant by faith. He served in the United States Army in WWII.
