Rex Browning

Rex Browning – 59 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Monday July 20, 2020 in the South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on December 16, 1960 in Hahira, Georgia to Patricia (Phelps) Browning and the late Jackie Browning. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his children: Michael Rex Browning and wife Heidi of Valdosta, Georgia, Robert Jack Browning and companion Breck of Valdosta, Georgia, Jessie James Browning and companion Whitney of Hahira, Georgia, Ashley Browning Shivers and husband Tyler of Adel, Georgia, Lindsay Browning and companion T.J. of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Autumn, June, Brianna, Braydon, Bryson, Ansley, Jackson, Brodie, Hudson, Mallory; Mother, Patricia Phelps Browning of Valdosta, Georgia; Brother, Ricky Browning of Valdosta, Georgia; Several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Graveside services honoring Rex’s life will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday July 23, 2020 in the Empire Church Cemetery of Lakeland, Georgia. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service at the graveside. The family asks that social distancing be used, as well as wearing a mask.
