Of Nashville passed away Saturday afternoon September 4, 2004 in the Berrien Nursing Center after declining health for some time. He was born in Richmond County, North Carolina and had lived in Tifton most of his life before moving to Lakeland, GA. He was retired as a driver in the trucking industry. He was preceded in death by his father Vinson Vickers and a brother Curtis Burr.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday September 7, 2004 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Inc. with burial in Westview Cemetery in Nashville, GA. Flowers will be accepted, or for those desiring a donation can be made to the family. Music Funeral Services Inc. of Lakeland is serving the Burr family.
