Richard Lee Wyers, Sr. – 62
of Stockton, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 18, 1956 in Lakeland, Ga to Lodia and Sarah (Rowell) Wyers. He worked as a truck driver for Harry Maine Logging for a number of years. He enjoyed planting roses and working in the flower bed. He enjoyed spending time with his pets who he loved dearly. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by, 2 brothers, Felix Wyers and Billy Wayne Wyers.
Survivors include his Wife of 31 years, Joann Wyers of Stockton, GA; Children, Morgan and Jonathon Fender of Stockton, GA; Kevin Wyers of Valdosta, GA, Jeremy Wyers of Moultrie, GA, Rickie Wyers,
Crystal Wyers, Brother, James Wyers (Donna) of Nashville, GA; Sister, Faye Smith (Wayne) of Lake Park, GA; And several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Lovejoy Cemetery.
