Rita Valane Holland Tomlinson, 62
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, GA. She was born on November 12, 1955 in Meigs, GA to Jesse and Margaret (Fleetwood) Holland. She was a member of The Rock Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Vernon Holland.
Survivors include her Sons, Michael Shannon Pipkin of Rochester, NY, Christopher Mark Pipkin of Lawrenceville, GA, Tony Pipkin of Atlanta, GA; Grandson, Gabriel Pipkin of Lawrenceville, GA; Sisters, Virginia Jane Miller of Valdosta, GA, Gloria Joyce Holland of Valdosta, GA; Brothers, Shelvey Holland, of Cumming, GA, Chandler Holland of McDonough, GA, Bruce Holland of Seneca, SC; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
