Robert Parker, Jr.

Robert Parker, Jr., 83, of Valdosta passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Hartford, Alabama to the late Susie Nellie Kelley Hallaway and Robert E. Lee Parker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, enjoyed working, raising cattle, gardening, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed anything outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dewayne Parker, great-granddaughter: Lexis Colson; brothers, Donald Ray Parker, Howard Parker, Walt Parker and three sisters: Joyce P. Hill Coleman, Hazel P. Plair, Grace P. Truitt
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years Lola Carter Parker of Valdosta, Georgia, Daughter, Pamela Jean P. Tillman of Valdosta, Donna Michal P. Padgett (Roy) of Okeechobee, Florida; 8 Grandchildren: Tony Parker; Katrina Williams; Nichole Hurd; Shane Parker; Crystal White; Matthew Colson; Shanon Parker; Brandon Parker; 9 Great Grandchildren: Dylan Cosme, Breanna Cosme, Charles Hurd; Shyla Najera; Aleigha Hurd; Noah Colson; Clayton Parker; Caleb Parker; 4 sisters: Robbie Sue P. Bowman (Jimmy) of Midland City, Alabama, Patsy P. Millner of Bluffton, Georgia, Julia P. of Midland City, Alabama and Judy P. Keener of Midland City Alabama; great granddaughter, Aryana Hurd.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in the Rock Church in Valdosta, Georgia. Interment will be private.
